The aim of Hwasun International Vaccine Forum is to provide visions over future vaccines and related biomedical industry, emphasizing their vital roles for the sustainable prosperity of human race.
Mankind, through vaccination, has a proud history of eradicating intractable infectious disease like polio, smallpox, etc.
However, mankind recently suffered badly from newly emerging diseases such as AIDS, SARS, Ebola, avian influenza, MERS, and Zika infections.
These illness will hopefully be eradicated by vaccination as ever, though successful vaccines have not developed yet.
By the benefit of the rapid development of science, it is supposed that new vaccines will be researched and developed in diverse ways exploiting state-of-art science and technology.
For establishing future vision over R&D, industry, policy, and international cooperation for vaccine distribution, we offer a open forum assembling experts from vaccine and related fields.
Korea, the host of International Vaccine Institute, has been paying a profound interest in research and development of vaccine, and founded a large vaccine industrial cluster in Hwasun, venue of 2017 HIVF.
Hwasun International Vaccine Forum will be held as annually and do the best providing righteous vision for vaccines and vaccine industry.
